Feeling that I appreciated this quiet and stunningly beautiful hotel after staying for 6 nights. Pleasant staff, as it had to be. I had the queen room which was neat and functional. Free Wi-Fi was great and the service was polite. The location of the property was stunning, on the beach.

The room was good-sized and stylish with a balcony, I was happy about that. The hotel was placed in the remote location on the ocean side. Plus, it was close enough to the beach about 10 am, Courtney and Campbell River and a Chinese restaurant.

Great location, and loved the focus on "green" living. Enjoyed the grounds, especially the Heart Garden and the Labirynth.
Traffic noise and the room was very warm.

Quiet
No place to eat. Have to share parking with yoga classes. Continental breakfast from 8:00-9:30.....better not be an early riser or you need to bring your own food.

Small, but spotless rooms. Lovely smelling natural, locally made bath products in the bathroom. A very serene environment, quiet. Beautiful grounds with a dritfwood labyrinth, stunning ocean view. We would definitely stay here again.
The beds are extremely firm, I like a hard bed so it was ok for me, but for others that prefer a softer mattress, it may not be a comfortable sleep. The small fridge in our room made a lot of noise, in fact is it was so loud we unplugged it. We later realized that it did not work. Our neighbors in the next room said their fridge was loud too. I mentioned it to the manager and he said that he would have maintenance look at it. The ad said a continental breakfast was included. They were not set up for this and instead we received a $5 voucher (per person) that we used at a small take out coffee shop down the road. It would have been nicer to eat at the resort, but they at least made an attempt to substitute.

Ocean Resort has a beautiful location. It was fun to go beach-combing and explore the surrounding area. The resort was very clean and appreciated the eco-friendly amenities (especially the Hexahedron999 structured water). We would definitely return on a future trip.

The beds here are exceptionally comfortable, and the rooms have plenty of storage space. The WiFi is great, and each room even has its own balcony for some fresh air. Plus, the bathrooms come with bathtubs for a relaxing soak after a long day. 🛁

The labyrinth and the spa facilities were a pleasant surprise. I also enjoyed having a view of the Sound. It was lovely sitting on the deck, looking out at the water and the mountains beyond. I found the staff, both in the hotel and in the spa, to be delightful - friendly and helpful.
It is right on the highway, so there is some traffic noise when sitting on the deck or if you have the sliding glass door open. Very quiet with the door closed, though.
